Located at the edge of the River Thames stands the brilliant Glaziers; its stunning setting provides views of the City, giving guests a beautiful backdrop for their events.
The available event space offers a lot of flexibility for any event and for many it is a favourite backdrop and setting to host their events in. Some of the many events which have been held at Glaziers Hall vary, from conferences and business meetings to champagne receptions and parties.
The current Glaziers Hall was acquired and refurbished in 1977. From 2016 – 2018 the building underwent extensive renovations to restore the space, preserving its heritage while giving it a more contemporary feel.
The current home of Glaziers Hall is connected to London Bridge and the so-called ‘Nancy Steps’ which were made famous by Charles Dickens’ Oliver Twist.
Inside of this fantastic central London based venue are seven magnificent rooms, all of which vary in sizes to accommodate and suit different types of events.’
The overall venue can accommodate up to 400 guests – each of the rooms can be used in conjunction with each other or they can be booked separately.
Although its rooms all differ from each other, they are all decorated beautifully with stained glass, oak panelling and floor to ceiling arched windows. In addition to this, Glaziers Hall has first-class views of the River Thames and the City skyline.
The largest room of them all inside of Glaziers Hall is the Banqueting Hall – an impressive and flexible space ideal for a maximum number of 300 guests. It is fully equipped with audio-visual equipment, making it the perfect venue for conferences, dinners and parties.
Adjacent to Banqueting Hall, this room shows off the venue’s best views. The River Room can accommodate up to 180 standing guests.
The Bridge Room and The Thames Room
This Bridge Room can hold a maximum of 60 guests for a seated dinner and 80 standing. The attached Thames Room can be used for a reception with a maximum capacity of 30 people. Both spaces offer stunning views of the Thames.
The Court Room and Library
Surrounded by oak panelling and stained glass windows, this room provides privacy and style for your conferences. The Court Room is an adaptable space with an anteroom for refreshments or strategic breakouts. This room can accommodate up to 100 guests for dinner.
The Library adjoins the Court Room, offering a refined room for refreshments or a breakout space for your guests. It holds an unrivalled collection of publications on the constitutional crafts of Glaziers Hall; glass painting and scientific instrumentation.
London Bridge Arches
This newly created space showcases three restored Georgian brick arches, a grade listed original York stone floor and bespoke wine cellar as a backdrop along with the exposed Sir John Rennie’s London Bridge
A heritage setting for dinners, wine tastings, receptions and lectures, with a private entrance and reception area the London Bridge Arches can be hired exclusively with a maximum capacity for 110 people.
Alternatively, this contrasting space can be used for breakouts or refreshments for larger events taking place throughout the venue, including expos, marketplace events and product showcases.
