Kew, The Temperate House

Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew

Designed by the famous architect Decimus Burton and built in the 19th Century, The Temperate House is the largest surviving Victorian glasshouse in the world, covering an area of 4,880 square metres. Appropriate for only the most extravagant of receptions, the elegant structure of The Temperate House provides the foundation from which your event can be custom designed.

The lush interior displays an array of plants from the sub-tropical regions of the world and when illuminated, is transformed into one of the most exotic and breathtaking venues in London.

Receptions can be accommodated in the North or South Octagons before dining in the Central House amongst a collection of palm trees. For larger receptions, the whole House can be utilised if required.
