eate were given the opportunity to showcase their food design at the Roundhouse on Wednesday the 14th September, when the magnificent venue opened its doors to the cream of corporate buyers, for an evening of entertainment and mouth-watering food from its accredited suppliers.

eate presented a selection of fashionable canapés from the new Autumn/Winter 2011 menus. Utilising the finest seasonal ingredients, cr
eate served prawn and jerusalem artichoke cannelloni, lamb carpaccio on a rosemary rosti with tahini yogurt and the vibrantly coloured beetroot and goats cheese skewers with micro cress.
Next came the 'bowl food round' for the caterers, all vying to catch the attention of the VIP clients carefully selected from The Roundhouse's prestigious event contacts. create's product development team produced innovative bowl food 'mini meals'. Duck breast rolled in liquorice charcoal with braised celery, wintergreens, potato fondant and prune puree proved to be very popular amongst the crowd who enjoyed the rare combination. Halibut with cockles and clams accompanied by bubble and squeak cakes and creamed spinach sauce was equally admired.

eate delivered something unique for their dessert option with the interactive rice pudding ice cream station, allowing guests to pick and choose from a range of tasty rice pudding ice cream lolly pops. The station was adorned with bowls of rich dark, white and milk chocolate and a selection of dips including crushed caramelised nuts, orange crackle candy, freeze dried red fruits, flavoured sherbet, crystalised violets and edible petals. Guests flocked to the stall, enjoying the interaction and invitation to top their rice pudding lollies with a range of tantalizing toppings.
