BITC Awards for Excellence Gala Dinner

create were proud to deliver the catering for the Business in the Community Awards for Excellence Gala Dinner and 1300 guests at the Royal Albert Hall on 5th July.

Given the complexity of the Hall's yearly performance schedule, the iconic venue, who have recently broken tradition and accredited a limited number of catering companies to their supplier list, offer only a few dates in the calendar that are eligible for create to cater.

We were therefore delighted to be successful in winning the contract for the first dinner since the launch of this new list. create pulled out all the stops to ensure the evening was a truly memorable occasion for our clients, the guests and indeed ourselves.

The venue's intricate and complex logistical constraints meant the create team were on site at the break of day to set up no less than 6 screened off kitchens in the public foyers. A false floor was built over the arena and this became the very impressive dining area.

The awards were celebrating companies who have shown a sustained commitment to corporate responsibility.

create's catering proposal to Business in the Community was heavily CSR led and focussed primarily on locally sourced and sustainable ingredients.
